48 hour party!

This weekend was totally an unintentional 48 hour party. Well, not really 48 hours, but sort of.

It started with happy hour on Thursday. Christine and I needed to talk, so we went to Fox and Hound that is real close to my apartment. I’m happy / proud for us because we actually went to my gym and worked out first, took showers, and then went to the bar.  We were home by midnight. #yayus

Friday, I didn’t do anything because I was pretty exhausted from not getting seven - eight hours of sleep. I met my handsome boyfriend for lunch, and then that night he met me at my apartment because I didn’t feel like going over to his place. We made a pallet, not quite but sort of, on the futon and watched some tv and The Help. That movie was so good.

Saturday we, Christine and I, had this baby shower thing to go to. It wasn’t really a baby shower, because we already had one for this girl, but it was more of a meet and greet with the baby. Thank goodness we’ve already seen Trey (the baby) before because on the way there, I got a freaking flat tire! It was horrible. By the time AAA got there and changed the tire, it was so late and the party was basically over, we just turned around and headed home.

I needed a drink since the day was already so stressful, so we went to this mexican restaurant for a margarita. The Saints game was on, so yay! Who Dat!!!

After our margie, we went back to Andy’s place, got some wine coffee, put them into our to-go coffee mugs, and went to Target to buy some shit because we were bored.  After Target, we went back to Andrew’s apt, got more wine, and started getting ready to go out that night.

Andrew didn’t want to go with us, so we called a cab and went to Washington St. We went to two bars, but have no idea which bar we were at the whole night. We told the cabbie to drop us off at Brixx, but when we tried to meet up with some ppl, they were at Brixx and they didn’t see us. We were apparently at Taps. We didn’t figure that out for a while because if we asked people what bar we were at, they told us Brixx and not Taps. So anyways… if you’re confused with the story, just imagine us - living it. And after drinking. It was hard to understand. LOL

I ended up just staying on the couch at Christine’s friend’s apt on Saturday and had Andrew picked me up the next morning. We got Whataburger on the way home. OM NOM NOM. Later on Sunday, Christine got dropped off at Andy’s because she had to pick up all of her shit that she had left over from the day before…

We started watching the Texans game, but fell asleep and they lost. Then Christine left and Andrew and I hung out all day. I have no idea what we did.

The end.
