Christine and Jonathan, Mike, Andrew, and I all went to the Renaissance Festival! It was really cool. Some people were decked out in costumes; tails and all (which we still don’t understand)!!! I ate a TURKEY LEG (delicious) and drank Jack Daniels mixed with Sweat Tea (No, I didn’t bring a flask and make my own mix… That was actually a drink to buy - in a can)!!! Christine got her face painted, and Mike bought a sword. It was an uber kick ass day!

Andrew spent the night yesterday, and sometime in the early morning I woke up and asked him to move over a little bit because I was super hot. He was like, “I can’t. Hadley’s over here”. I lift my head up to see where Hadley was laying, and he was on Andrew’s pillow. Andrew was only using about 1/4 of the pillow because Hadley was sleeping on the other part!! I thought it was so sweet of Andrew to let him stay there and not move him off. This morning was such a precious moment!!!!!!! I had both of my guys sleeping with me! <3

GOOD IDEA - On Monday, after the work movie party, Christine and I went out with co-workers for a few drinks. We left at a reasonable time.
BAD IDEA - After leaving our co-workers, we decided to go to another bar. We got shitfaced and didn’t get home until midnight. It was a Monday.

This weekend, I was supposed to go home and visit my parents… but instead of being responsible and going to bed early on Friday so I could wake up early (because I had to be in Waco by 11:30am, which means leave Houston at 8am), I got completely shitfaced. Friday, everyone was planning on going over to Andrew’s to play poker, so I decided that that seemed pretty harmless, and that I would pack my bags and Hadley, go over there and stay the night so I could get up and leave the next day. Turns out, I drank a little too much and felt soooo sick the next day, that when I got caught in traffic on my way out of Houston and realized I would be late for the FAMILY PICTURE (!!!) that we had to take, I turned around and went back to Andrew’s. I feel so selfish for missing it, but I honestly could not drive at all that day. I was in the car for about 1.5 hrs (round trip) and felt like complete shit. As I was hung over on Andrew’s couch, while he was out and about doing stuff… like detailing his and my car (and I didn’t even ask him to do mine; he just did it!), I threw up a few times and didn’t start feeling better until, like 4 or so. So yea… I feel so horrible for not going home b/c my family and I had something pretty important planned, but on the other hand, Andrew and I had another amazing weekend! Needless to say Friday was fun… and on Saturday, after I started feeling better, we went to the store to buy beer (which I did not drink!) and stuff to make queso because we were going over to a friend’s house to eat brisket that they had smoked all day, and watch the TAMU game. (Have I mentioned to yall that Andrew is an Aggie?!?!? :P lol) Anyways… all day because he knew I was feeling sickly, he was being such a sweetie, like… overly nice. Then Sunday, we cooked dinner together - shrimp fajitas with all the fixings. It was sooo good. Although this weekend doesn’t really sound too eventful, we were with each other pretty much the whole time and it just felt so right.
As we all know, I don’t have internet at home… which means, I can’t check my bank account on Saturday to see what my ridiculous bar tab Friday night was; I would just have to guess how much I spent and hope that I wouldn’t overdraft the next night. Well, Wells Fargo just started this nifty thing where you can get your balance texted to you! YES!!!! I’m so excited.
