Seeing how I’ve been living without tv/cable/internet since February, and how much I love Big Brother, my Dad bought me a TV converter thing and bunny ears to pick up regular tv channels. I’ve had this since last time I went home, but have not hooked it up. Since Drew is an electrical engineer AND a boy… I asked him to come over and help me hook it up since I decided not to go to trivia on Tuesday.
BB premiers tonight and I’m soooooo excited! :D :D :D HOPEFULLY, the tv will work for one hour because the past couple days it has been pretty jicky.

I had a major eye flirtation with a cute boy on the subway last night. We had a super-awkward exchange of “hi” followed by giggling before I stepped off the train. HE JUST FOUND ME ON MISSED CONNECTIONS!!

Why I didn’t go to trivia tonight…
Thursday was totally Girls Night Out! We went to a couple gay bars on Montrose and had a blast! Not only did we give money to the guys that were dancing in G-stings, had a photo shoot in front of a HUGE fan, and get hit on by lesbians… but we also saw a Wet Boxer Contest. It was Awesome! LOL
I woke up Friday morning (hung over, obvi!) and drove to The Woodlands to hang out with Jason/Bart/Allison, and to meet Jason’s girlfriend from Seattle, Marissa. She was totally cool and they seemed to have a real good long distance thing going on. After eating lunch, we went to Lake Conroe to swim/drink. We were only there for a couple hours whenever a sheriff came over and told us that we couldn’t have alcohol or something. It was totally lame. We decided not to risk getting a ticket, so we went back home and grilled out. Everyone was super tired from going strong all day and being in the sun, that we all took a nap. Whenever we woke up, everyone was still pretty groggy, so we stayed in and watched movies.
The next day, Saturday, I went over to Jonathan and Christine’s apartment for a pool party! It was sooooooo much FUN too! We took a bunch of jelly shots, played water volleyball and then watched fireworks. I also kept saying/singing: “Gimme Gimme”… like, from the Brittany Spears song, I suppose. I’ve srsly only heard that song twice, so I don’t know why I had it in my head! But yea… totally ruined that song for everyone - for FOREVER.
Sunday started off as a bust (the whole, Dad not wanting to see me, thing)… but ended VERY well. I picked up my precious little boy from Channelview mid-afternoon and bonded with him all day! My kitty is the sweetest thing ever!

I am totally pissed at my Dad. My parents were supposed to come into town on Sunday, but at last minute, my Dad decides he didn’t want to. He went on this rampage and had a major pity party telling my Mom that “Heather doesn’t want us to come… / She won’t appreciate us visiting… / She doesn’t like me… “. I mean, all kinds of ridiculous SHIT.
After my Mom told me everything, I started crying badly. I don’t know why he feels that way about me and it really hurts whenever I start to think about it. Like, not trying to blame stuff on other people… but the reason why I’m totally fucked up with guys is because of my father. How can I have a decent relationship with anyone when the male model in my life continually lets me down?

One word describes this weekend: Eventful.
Friday night was a friend’s birthday. After pre-drinking at his condo, we all headed to Rice Village. At Little Woodrow’s, we ended up meeting some pretty cool kids and played several games of flip cup - at the bar - while sweating our asses off! It was unbelievably hot and humid. ugh! After the bar, we did a little after partying, then passed out. Side Note: In between the after partying and passing out… I may or may not have done something that will make my next somewhat sober encounter with someone really awkward…
Saturday, I was worthless. I had a million things on my to-do list, and did nothing during the day. Sometime in the evening, I went over to Christine’s apt to meet up with her and Rachel because we (mostly Rachel) wanted to go to the Gay Pride parade which was on Montrose. All of the floats were throwing out Mardi Gras beads, and we decided to have a friendly competition of who could get the most. Loser had to buy the first round of drinks, and I definitely lost. I should get some credit though; I was taking pics/vids and got the most condoms that people were throwing out. LOL.
Sunday FUNDAY! I went over to Drew and Ben’s for a mini pool party. Luke and Madeline came over and we played the pool game, “Jump, Dive, or Spin”. It was kind of lame… but fun.
